The ambiance and food are amazing here, but I really have to give it to the people who work here, because a restaurant is only really as great as their employees and everyone here… from the moment we stepped in, so truly amazing! They have an incredible staff, who are friendly, attentive and super helpful. It is so important to have really kind, knowledgeable and hardworking people who create an ambiance of care and delight for customers and this place takes the cake for all of that! It’s a busy and pretty popping spot to enjoy a delicious seafood dinner and a sunset. Their flatbread, sweet potato fries with homemade hot ketchup, fish and chips, salmon BLT and the prime rib sandwich with dip and oysters are all so deliciously devine!! Highly recommend coming for lunch or dinner. It’s right across the street from a million dollar ocean view too. Five stars: definitely would dine here again. Thanks Dini’s by the Sea for making it a memorable evening. We’ll be back soon!
The food and beverages here are fantastic! It took a little while before our server came to take our order, but they seemed short staffed and it was happy hour. We had the house wine and the spicy margarita. Both were good, although be warned. The spice level in the margarita is pretty high. We both had the side salad. I had the crab cakes and my husband had the blackened prawns. The side salad was so big that I couldn’t finish it. Crab and shrimp were both very fresh. I will definitely be back. Since my review was written, we’ve been back two more times. It was as good as the first time. The French dip sandwich was delicious as well as the fish and chips.
I wanted to eat with an ocean view with my 7 year old. I was happy they had some of his favorites. He had cheese pizza and chicken strips! Of course food for the next day, but when he's happy, I'm happy. I loved the crab cakes and house salad. The clam chowder was ok. I like more of a creamy flavor than a citrus one, but it was edible and not gritty. =) The waiter Elijah was very attentive and the place was cleaned while you ate. The busboy would not let a used plate sit long if you were done. =) They even welcomed digs if you had them. We will definitely be back.
The price you pay for a wonderful meal is right in track. The food isn't fancy but the menu is well thought out. Portions are just right. The service is personable, quick, attentive. It's a mainstay when we are in town. The bar area is lively but not too loud. You will be truly pleased to have dined here!!
We’re from NM and so looking forward to great seafood. We enjoyed Dinis so much. Food was terrific, and great view of sea and sky. Also surprised a great steak available for non seafood eaters. Service was friendly but not attentive. The only one we saw frequently was a bus man. I feel good management was absent.
Coral was our server. She was especially helpful and provided suggestions on requests we had. Food was very good. Onion rings were nice and crispy. Salmon was excellent. Service was superb. Highly recommend Dini’s By the Sea.
My family and I had the best time at Dini’s! First and foremost, the service was EXCEPTIONAL! We felt so cared for. Starting with the host. He was so sweet and helpful. Our waitress was very attentive and so kind. We were also helped by another server, Day. Day was so sweet and kept checking on us as we had our little one. The food was so yummy and portions are HUGE!! So you will have leftovers. The views are beautiful. Everything was excellent. We will be back!
Found this place on our walk and had a late lunch. Everyone was nice and welcoming. I had the Salmon BLT and it tasted delicious. Salmon was piping hot, and very tender and moist.
For starters, the atmosphere is amazing. A modest, calm environment with an amazing view. Our server, Amiah, was very nice and always made sure we were taken care of. The food was delicious. I had the blackened chicken and pasta, and my wife got nachos. The pasta sauce was the most flavorful I’ve ever had in my life ! The dessert was even better. Their creme brûlée was incredible. My wife got the cheesecake, and it’s comparable to the cheesecake you find in New York. All in all, incredible experience and an amazing spot for a date.
We found this place on a whim, looking for a late lunch. The happy hour prices were fantastic. We had a burger, crab cakes, French fries and onion rings, the food was so good and our server, Spicy Mike, was great! We will definitely be back if we are ever back in the area.
